I am many things. Made in the Image of God, yet fallen, but thank God; forgiven by His grace! I am Good, and bad. I am happy, and sad. I am optimistic and pessimistic. I am a husband to Becky. A father to none and yet with many spiritual children. I am a Pastor. I am a non-Chinese leading a Church that has Chinese roots and multi-ethnic branches here in New Zealand. And so I blog about the challenges, joys, and sorrows of trying to lead such a Church.

My wife Becky, myself, and our youth worker Eric in front of a a weird picture at Church one day.

I really miss this church now. Pastor Jack is a good teacher with a gentle heart. I will remember him and choose to remember him that way as long as I live.

St Thomas the apostle would have wanted the gospel to go eastwards to China, and he did his best to take it forwards, and east wards, It is good to know that his precious work has been fulfilled with the Chinese establishing their churches in the far eastern ends of the earth.

It is up to Chinese Christians to continue and carry the precious work of the apostle Thomas into other parts of Asia and other Asian ethnic groups. They have a great future, and a great potential to accomplish much in Christ.

I wish this church the very best always to carry on forwards that precious work of the beloved apostle Thomas. Apostle to the Arabs, Persians and South Asians.

  3. Hi,

Thank you for your blog on Jacob Arminius. I have been reading about him too. I have concluded that God predestined me to be Arminian.

    God bless,

I am brother Ben from Kuria Kenya (Kuria is in Migori county and its bordering with Tanzania) and i am a devoted man of God , called to serve and help and encourage the needy in soul, by proclaiming the good good news of the risen Christ, and also i help and encourage the needy children who are orphans and abandoned by their parents.I have a small congregation which i administer to every Lord’s day, of about 22 members and i have seen God ‘s hand moving to this people as many get saved and surrender their lives to Jesus Christ.I thank God for the good work he has given me, of preaching His Kingdom to the lost souls and always pray for His strength.
As the Lord is so faithful to His promises, i am caring 7 orphans in my home and there are many children being taken care by some members of the church and many others are without some one to look after them. These orphans are really in needy for prayers, food, clothing, shelter and medications. They also need the gape love to show them how much God loves them and that they not forgotten. The Church has lasted for only 2 years. The vision of this church is to give hope to needy soul and helping to fulfill the great commission in the power of the holy spirit by winning many to faith in Jesus Christ, build them in Jesus Christ in their faith and send them to win and build others also.
I really send my heartfelt invitation to you , to come over here in Kenya to share and minister to us the good news of the risen Christ.Your participation may be of great change to the advancement of the gospel of Jesus Christ here in Kenya and the whole world .Its my prayer and hope that you will humbly accept my request of joining hand together to make change to many lives.God bless you and i hoe to read from you soon
